The price of wedding cakes can vary from one cake designer to another. My prices reflect the meticulous attention to detail, luxurious ingredients, creative designs, skill and the exclusive service I offer couples.
Each of my wedding cakes is unique and designed specifically for the individual couple according to their requirements, meaning that prices can vary depending on the design, the level of detail, sizes required and flavour choices. The prices below are a starting guide only and further more complex embellishments, such as intricate design work, prop tiers, edible metallic leaf, stencilling, monograms and sugar floral arrangements will incur additional costs. Fresh flowers are to be supplied by your florist, however I can happily source flowers for you at an additional cost.
Polystyrene dummy tiers can also be used should you not require as many edible portions but still want the grandeur of a larger cake design. These are covered in sugar paste and then decorated to look like a real cake and become part of your elegant design. Please bear in mind that this will not significantly reduce the overall cost.
All cake tiers are 6” tall as standard, shallower or extra deep tiers are available upon request. All portion guides are based on a 1” x1” x 6” wedding portion size. Please note these are guidelines and they are dependent on how each cake is cut.
Bespoke Sugar biscuits that compliment both your wedding cake and décor are the perfect favour gift for your wedding guests. Working with you to create beautiful, individual biscuits starting from £3.00 each. The price will vary depending on the size of the biscuit and complexity of your chosen design. Prices for packaging vary according to the option chosen and we can discuss this at your design consultation.
The prices above are the cost of a plain fondant iced sponge cake with ribbon trim. Buttercream and ganache finished cakes are available at certain times of the year at the discretion of Lolli & Bean. All cakes will be crumb coated in a thin layer of Belgium white chocolate ganache. Larger designs are also available, however for 6 tiers upwards the additional tiers will be made up of dummy tiers. I recommend catering for 80% of guest numbers, however if more portions are needed additional serving cakes can be made for the kitchen.
Please note that there is a minimum spend of £500 excluding delivery and set-up costs, this can be made up with sugar biscuit favours if needed.
A Final quote, to include your delivery and set up fee will be given once a design has been chosen. This will be valid for 30 days and afterwards will be subject to change.
